Founded in 1989 by Kevin Woodhouse, Daleside began as a small agricultural fabrication business operating from a farm workshop. Over the years, it has grown into a trusted name across multiple industries, known for our craftsmanship, reliability, and straight-talking approach. From fabricating cattle crushes and farm implements to delivering bespoke steel structures and completing major projects for clients like Huddersfield University, we have built a solid reputation for quality and expertise.

A pivotal moment in our journey came with our early partnership with EP Climbing, a collaboration that remains strong today as we proudly supply custom steelwork for climbing walls and sportainment challenges worldwide. This enduring relationship has been instrumental in shaping our company, allowing us to tackle innovative, large-scale projects and solidifying our reputation for delivering high-quality fabrications.

In 2010, we moved to a purpose-built facility, significantly increasing our production capacity. Designed to improve efficiency and equipped with modern tools and technology, this new workspace created a safer, more comfortable environment for our dedicated team and enhanced our ability to deliver bespoke, complex solutions across a diverse range of industries.

In 2015, we expanded further with the launch of Escape Pods, a premium line of glamping pods. Combining our expertise in steel fabrication and bespoke joinery, the “Pod Original” and its successors continue to be delivered countrywide, known for their innovative design and durability.

Today, Daleside continues to move forward, delivering high-quality projects, from mezzanine installations to custom pods. Guided by our ‘no problems, only challenges’ philosophy, we remain committed to innovation and building on our strong heritage as we look to the future.
